Kathie joined Andover in September 1980 after spending 5 years in Social Work and 2 years in Sales. She earned an MSW from Adelphi University and a BA degree from Syracuse University.
Representing actuarial employers as well as actuaries for over 30 years Kathie utilizes her sales and social work background to develop strong lasting relationships. Her keen insights into people enable her to recognize a good match between candidates and clients alike, making her a trusted partner to both! She prides herself on her ability to recognize “if the fit is not right” this is evidenced by her stellar track record.
When not working, Kathie enjoys traveling, reading, skiing and cycling.
Since joining Andover in July 1985 Lisa has been recruiting and placing Life, Health and Investment Actuaries for over 30 years. She has a wealth of experience placing ASA’s, FSA’s and Chief Actuaries and currently specializes in the senior actuarial market.
Lisa has developed long standing relationships with clients and candidates through her honest and diligent approach to the business. She is insightful and highly professional with superb listening skills and knowledge, evidenced by her successful partnerships on exclusive and retained searches.
Lisa is a graduate of Ithaca College with a BS in Business/Psychology. When she is not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as reading, cooking and traveling.

Debbie joined Andover in 1990, she started her career by placing accountants after earning her B.A in Sociology at Lehman College City University New York.
Debbie brings a unique combination of skills to actuarial recruitment. The ability to build trust and credibility with clients and applicants is evidenced by her long term commitment to the profession.Her integrity and premier professional service is recognized throughout the industry. Debbie is a highly motivated team player who successfully generates top level senior executives for actuarial positions on retainer,exclusive and contingent searches.She has been a constant presence, as well as an exhibitor at Society of Actuaries meetings for decades.
Outside the office Debbie enjoys cooking, travel, biking and spending time with her family and friends.
Senior Vice President
Deborah joined Andover in the fall of 1993. With over 25 years of experience, she is well-known and highly respected in the actuarial and consulting industry. Her strong interpersonal skills and integrity have helped her develop solid relationships with both her clients and candidates.
She enjoys the process of getting to know her clients and candidates both professionally and personally and making the right match between them. Deborah earned her MBA in Finance from Columbia University and her BA in Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to joining Andover, she worked in banking and corporate finance.
When not working, she enjoys cycling as a means of traveling around the world, running, yoga, theater, ballet and reading.
Hillary has been a valued member of the Andover actuarial team since joining the Company in 2006; specializing in Life, Health, Risk, and Investment disciplines. Her strong work ethic and persistence coupled with her passion for making connections has made her a valued partner to both candidates and clients. Placing actuaries at all levels, she has successfully placed students, ASA's, FSA's and Chief Actuaries both nationally and internationally.
Additionally, Hillary leads training and development of new and less experienced recruiters on the Andover Actuarial Team.
A native New Yorker, Hillary graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in Psychology. Outside the office she likes to cook, travel and spend time with her husband and two daughters. You can also find her on the spin bike or at Barry's Bootcamp!
Assistant Vice President
A graduate of American University with a BA in Communications, Amy joined Andover in 1994. After a break to start a family she rejoined the Andover actuarial team in 2008. She began her career in Public Relations and was a spokesperson for the American Red Cross of New York. Amy’s strong interpersonal skills and commitment to “matchmaking” have made her a natural in recruiting and placement.
When not working Amy is an avid tennis player and enjoys traveling with her family.
Senior Vice President
Sarah joined Andover in January of 2012 as an Associate placing actuaries from students to FSA’s. Prior to Andover, Sarah managed client expectations at a start-up company based in New York City, and was a key component in building that department.
Sarah graduated Marist College with a dual major in Psychology / Special Education and earned a Master of Science with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has placed numerous candidates from coast to coast and continues to build solid relationships with her candidates and clients.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling, reading, skiing and spending quality time with friends and her husband and two sons.
Senior Vice President
Alex joined Andover’s Actuarial recruiting team in February 2013. She is a graduate of Long Island University with a degree in International Studies. Prior to joining Andover she was a Human Resources professional at a large global insurer where she honed her skills dealing with candidates at all levels in many disciplines.
Alex is most active in the post FSA market successfully placing actuaries with insurers and consulting firms nationwide.
A highly motivated recruiter, she is outgoing and dedicated to matchmaking. She enjoys building relationships and finding candidates their perfect opportunity based on their skills and interests. She regularly attends Society of Actuaries meetings to keep abreast of trends and visit with clients and candidates.
When not working, she enjoys playing bass guitar, running and traveling.
Alexandra joined Andover as an Associate in 2017. She specializes at the new ASA and FSA level in both the Life and Health markets.
Alexandra received her B.A. degree from the University of Memphis, where she studied English and Theatre. Prior to moving to New York City, Alexandra was an Executive Recruiter in Memphis, placing IT and Engineering professionals. She enjoys learning about the skills and interests of candidates and matching them with great opportunities. Alexandra is invested in maintaining long term relationships with candidates and clients alike.
When she’s not at the office, she loves movies and traveling!
Lindsay joined Andover in 2019 as an Associate, specializing in the placement of actuaries at the Pre-ASA, ASA and new FSA levels within the Life and Health markets. Lindsay takes care and pride in understanding each person’s unique situation to help them realize their full potential. She is committed to opening doors and easing the job search process.
Lindsay graduated from Hofstra University with a B.S. in Television/Business. Her compassion, determination and commitment to personal growth drive her to help guide candidates to their next challenge.
Beyond the desk, Lindsay is an avid foodie always working on her cooking skills and trying to find the next best restaurant. She enjoys traveling, music, and anything that gets the body moving and the mind present.
Erin joined Andover 2021 as an Associate, specializing in the placement of actuaries in the Life and Health Markets. Working with students and ASA’s, she is dedicated to finding and creating the right position for each candidate. Her excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are invaluable throughout the entire placement process. She is committed to ensuring both candidate and client satisfaction.
A North Carolina native, Erin graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.F.A in Dance.
Outside of the office Erin enjoys being active: continuing her dance practice and doing pilates. She loves living in NYC and trying new restaurants with her Fiance.
Director of Research
Susan has been with Andover since 1999. She earned an MA in Speech Pathology from Hofstra University and a BA from Queens College, City University of New York. Prior to becoming part of the Andover actuarial team Susan worked on Wall Street.
As Director of Research she currently oversees web based communications and advertising, as well as running the exhibitor booth at the annual meeting of the Society of Actuaries.
Outside of work Susan is actively involved and sits on the New York Boards of two major national non-profit organizations. She enjoys reading, golf and spinning.
Manager; Administrative Services
Hina joined Andover Research, Ltd in the summer of 2013 as office Administrative Assistant and currently serves as our Office Manager. She is directly responsible for overseeing the administrative operations of the company which encompasses Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Accounting, Compliance and System Technology areas. Hina is an integral part of the company's day-to-day functions. She earned a Bachelor's of Business Management from Rutgers Business School, graduating with honors. When not in the office, Hina enjoys spending time her family and traveling.
